The traveling role for the Kanye West Documentary required me to fully immerse myself in every aspect of the production for two years, both on and off set. I wasn’t just supporting the Director—I was living the project alongside him.

Every detail, from the smallest task to the most critical decision, mattered, and I made sure nothing was left to chance. Whether the environment was hosting last-minute private dinners or catching problems that could have derailed the entire operation—every challenge was an opportunity to stay grounded, keep communication flowing, and make sure the Director and team had exactly what they needed to keep the project moving.

Managing the fast-paced, ever-changing schedule was a constant exercise in focus and adaptability. From high-stakes financing appointments to private screenings, I ensured everything ran smoothly, securing media files, troubleshooting systems, and mastering new software as the demands evolved. Many times, I acted as the Director’s voice in discussions, ensuring his presence and vision were felt even when he wasn’t directly involved.

Creating spaces that fueled the Director’s creativity became a personal mission. I maintained his home and workspaces, ensuring they aligned with his vision, while documenting the project through daily filming and photography. Every task had purpose, contributing to the larger story of the documentary.

Logistics weren’t just another part of the job—they were the backbone of our success. I handled travel and lodging for the crew, procured essential equipment, and coordinated with outside vendors—from composers to sound editors—building the relationships that were crucial to bringing the project to life.

The rhythm of this role wasn’t casual; it was lived with purpose, every day shaping the documentary’s progress, and ensuring that no element slipped through the cracks.
